Anson closed out his first semester of preschool with the most adorable Christmas program. He isn't known for singing, but with all the months of practicing, he started singing some of the songs around the house. The preview had me so excited for the performance, and these 3 year olds did not disappoint.
The same cannot be said for my cinematography skills. I apologize for the shaky video, but trust me...it's worth it :)
Here they are singing "The Lights on the Tree"
For those of you unfamiliar with the song, here's the basic idea.
The lights on the tree go blink, blink, blink.
The presents under the tree go shake, shake, shake.
The Mommy in the kitchen goes cook, cook, cook.
The Daddy on the couch goes snore, snore, snore.
The Grandpa in the house goes hug, hug, hug.
The Grandma in the house goes kiss, kiss, kiss.
The family in the house says "Thank you God, Thank you God, Thank you God".
This song is "Three Little Christmas Trees"
Three little Christmas trees standing all alone,
Their hearts were very sad 'cause they didn't have a home.
Then "SNAP" went the ax, and down fell the tree,
And off it went with the happy family.
It's such a sweet song, especially when the get the emotion behind each part.
