First Day of Preschool

Today was Anson's first day of preschool. We woke up early to have some breakfast, get dressed and start the photo shoot :)

Showing off his new fire truck lunch box.

He was a little too ready to head off to school.

Striking a pose.

Proudly showing off his Thomas the train backpack. I learned a valuable lesson while shopping for school supplies - never ask a 3 year old which style he wants unless you're willing to buy it. The picture doesn't show the full effect, but the Thomas part has a black glittery background. He is so proud of that darn thing. Luckily he still lets me pick out his clothes...for now :)

What happened to my baby? He's so grown up!

Showing off his first "homework" assignment. We made a placemat for his lunch. He covered it with Thomas and McQueen stickers.

My sweet 3 year old in his classroom. This is one of my favorite pictures of the two of us.
My handsome little boy is all ready for school.

He was cute in the car on the way to school. As I was taking the exit to our church (also our school) he kept shouting, "School. Mommy, there's my school". As I pulled into the parking space he told me, "Mommy, I have to go to school now. I go to school all by myself".
Gotta run pick him up. I can't wait to hear all about his first day.
