We started with Christmas breakfast. Can you see how enthusiastic Anson is about the food? Sadly, that was a shared reaction. I decided to try a few new recipes and they were both flops. Everyone was a good sport about it though I think we were all eager to open presents and get back to bed.
Anson didn't get into Christmas as much as we had expected. While opening presents he was way more interested in making sure every (and I do mean EVERY) scrap made its way to the trash. He'd peel off a little paper, run to the trash can, come back and peel off some more. Well, you get the picture. He ran by in such a flash that I couldn't get it all in one video. I'm sure you can fill in the gaps.
Someone should tell this kid to check his fly :)
He had fun sorting out his Mr. Potato Head pieces. They went from floor to the suitcase and back on the floor again. Then they went in his mouth.
Now Mr. Potato Head is just an accessory on the shelf. We'll take him down to talk about the eyes, nose, ears and mouth soon, but the shelf makes a pretty nice - and safe - resting place for him now.
